Mission Statement of Unity Baptist Church

Unity Baptist Church accepts and believes the Word of God as being the absolute truth, that the Word of God (Bible) is the infallible & inerrant Word of God.  We stand on Acts 5:29, that we are to obey God rather than man.

Unity Baptist Church believes that all Churches who claim Jesus Christ as personal Saviour are to be "one in Spirit & one in Body" working together for the Glory of God, not the Denomination.  Ephesians 4:2-6 shows this.

Unity Baptist Church believes in showing the love of the Father through the teachings of His Son, Jesus Christ.  He who loved us first, this "agape" love must be reflected to others by us.  We show this not by our words, but by our actions no matter who they are, what their past or present situation has been or is now.  John 3:16 says "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son".  We are to exemplify this type of love to everyone, no matter who they are or what they have done and we need to do this daily!

GOD is the God of the Universe, the God of everything created by God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Their love leaves no one out and our love does not either.

The "true Church", is not an organization (denomination), but the Body of Christ made up of those who have personally trusted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and publicly confess Him as Lord, their Lord.

Unity Baptist Church believes that it is every members responsibility to be active in the work that the Church is doing, to be supportive in this work physically, mentally, financially and spiritually.  Dedicating oneself to the growth of His House, putting GOD first, you and your family second, for with GOD all things are possible, but without HIM, you can do nothing.  To be fruitful with God's messages and to pass on His light are two of our most important commitments as Christians in sharing His word andthe Gospel.

Mark 16:15 states "He said unto them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."

2 Chronicles 7:14 explains "If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sins and will heal their land."
